Annual Meeting

At Lincoln

The keen desire by increasing numbers of young people in New Zealand to give voluntary service at home and overseas was the main theme at the opening day of the annual meeting of the youth committee of the National Council of Churches at Lincoln College. More than 60 delegates representing eight denominations and seven affiliated organisations from all parts of the country are attending the conference. The chairman is the Rev. A. Concern for the education and training at Christian young people to serve in varying capacities was atpressed by speakers. Consideratton was given to different avenues of service which are bwning available through the recently formed Council for Vofamtoer Service Abroad.
