Oyster Openers’ Minimum Wage

Oyster openers have been granted a guaranteed wage of £lO 10s a week under their new award released by the Count of Arbitration today. Though it is known that this will involve oyster merchants in additional costs, it cannot be ascertained whether the guaranteed, weekly minimum granted to openers will affect the price of oysters to the consumer.
