Fast Mile Climax To Queen’s Dunedin Visit

DUNEDIN, February 15.

Sub-four-minute miles by the world’s champion, P. G. Snell, of Auckland, and J. L. Davies, of Waikato, were the climax to the Royal visit to Dunedin today.

Rain stopped for the Royal track and field meeting at the Caledonian Ground this evening but, otherwise, the day was one of umbrellas and raincoats for everyone, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh included.
