Salvation Army Conference
The annual conference of officers of the CanterburyWestland division of the Salvation Army will be held in the Sydenham Salvation Army Hall on February 21. About 60 officers from all centres will attend. The year’s programme will be decided on and discussed In the evening a meeting of laymen art the citadel will be told of the programme. On Monday of the same week the Salvation Army will hold its annual swimming gala at the Centennial pool. Young people from Sunday schools and other affiliated organisations will take part. Competitors will come from Christchurch. Waimate, Ashburton and Tlmaru
