Invitation Race Conditions
Some owners and trainers still appear to be confused by toe conditions governing invitation races. Horses invited to compete with slower assessments than limits for toe races are liable to toe same penalties they would receive in an ordinary handicap event.
Some owners and trainers apparently think that should their horses finish third in an invitation race they would receive a penalty; but this is not the case.
