SPONSORED CRICKET TOURNAMENT.—A. Cartright (Otago) hitting a ball from the left-arm bowler, J. Carson (Auckland), to the boundary in the second innings of the match between the Otago and Auckland under-23 teams, played at St. Andrew’s College yesterday. The teams are competing in the under-23 sponsored cricket tournament, being held in Christchurch. The wicket-keeper is J. Jessup (Auckland).
