In future importers will not have to pay for shipments of salmon until they arrive in New Zealand. However. the benefit of the change will not be felt by importers until the new licensing period. New Tea Pack.—Butland Industries, Ltd., packers of Tynan Tips Tea, will shortly put a new tea pack on the market. The tea will be of the fanning type that has proved popular in other countries. It will sell for Is 9d for the quarter pound pack and 3s 5d for the half pound pack. Lemon Cordial.—A new lemon drink is soon to be released by Hanselte N.Z., Ltd. It will be highly concentrated lemon and the price is expected to be 6s fid for a 16 ounce bottle. New Antiseptic.—Something new to be introduced Into the antiseptic and disinfectant range is a disinfectant to be called Lavender." Packed in a bottle specially designed not to slip from wet hands, the new disinfectant has a colour and aroma that should appeal to most housewives. The 16 ounce bottle will sell for 4s fid. Glucose Tablets,—A local manufacturer is now producing glucose tablets under the name Vita. These tablets have many advantages over the powdered glucose. The packets of tablets retail at 2s 3d.

Bacon And Ham.—A recent price list issued by the bacon curers shows reduced prices for both bacon and ham. Most paeon has been reduced 2d a lb. while ham is Id a lb cheaper. Price reductions are always welcomed by the shopping public. p
