Victory To Wilson?
fN.Z.P.A.-R«ut«T—Copyright) LONDON, February 14. Mr Harold Wilson was widely expected to be named tonight as the British Labour Party's new leader, the “Evening Standard” reported. It said Mr Wilson’s lieutenants calculated he had about 35 more votes than the other candidate, Mr George Brown.
"Some of Mr Brown’s senior campaigners have privately acknowledged defeat,” the “Evening Standard" said. The final result of the twostage election will be announced at a private party meeting tonight.
