Prison Terms For Assault
(N,Z. Pres* Association) WELLINGTON. Feb 13. “I'm satisfied both of you deliberately set out to provoke the assaults.” said Mr J. F. Keane. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Lower Hutt today when he sentenced Clifford Leonard Greenbank, aged 21, unemployed, and Robert Trevor John Hardie, aged 22, a workman, to prison for 11 weeks. Hardie appeared for sentence on a charge of assault and Greenbank appeared for sentenced on two of assault, one of assaulting a female, two of wilful damage and one of using insulting language.
