Opening rates were 10s to lie a head dearer than last year but at the close this gain had tncreeaed to '.ss to Ms. There was a full clearance at auction and the Mie would rate as one of the best in the district for several year*. Value* were:—Beet Romney and Romney cross two-tooth ewes 95* to £5 4s. good Us to Ms. average 70s to Ms, small <®s to Ms. Border Leicester cross two-tooth ewes Ms 0d to 87s.
