Parkhouse, of Auckland The protest of W.'H. Been (Canterbury) against N. Everett (Auckland) was upheld. Everett losing hi* thirteenth place in the second heat for a breach of r ‘?y t 'p , 'NeweU (Auckland) protested against B. De Thler (Canterbury). who wa* fourth in th* third heat. De Thler. th* leading skipper from hi* province in the contest, wa* displaced for tacking 100 close The Auckland champion. C. A. Robert* protested against th* contest pointe leader. H. O. L Pederasn at Otahuhu on the ground that Pedersen had failed to give him room. The proteit was disallowed, and Robert* had hi* deposit money refunded, but a* a result of evidence given at the hearing before the sailing committee T, G.
