ELECTION OF WOMEN

Sponsoring Proposed “It is essential that women’s organisaitions should take the responsibility of sponsoring women for public offices,’’ said Mrs Muriel Hilton, a former Mayor of Tirnaru, at the inter-provincial conference of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers of New Zealand, which was held in Ashburton yesterday.
