Henry Prominent In Last Game The strong Beckenham side capped its success tn the senior A division of the CanterburyWater Polo Board's 1983-83 comC titions when it convincingly at Elmwood. 19-4 tn the final aeries of games. Spreydon gained second place by beating Christchurch in a close game. The former New Zealand representative R. Henry, was the dominant figure for Beckenham against Elmwood. Strongly supported by G. Dann and M. Scott, he scored four good goals and was prominent tn moves leading to the scoring of others. Dann (3). Scott (2). and L. Mclntosh also scored for Beckenham, and R. Leek (2) and A. McPhail (2) scored for Elmwood. Scorers tn the other match were D. Cutting (2) and L H MacDonald for Snreydon and 3 Monk of Christchurch. Final points in the senior A division were:—Beckenham 19.
