A new Lola Grand Tourer is on display at the Racing Car Show in London. It is powered by a 4262 c.c. engine.
The American magazine: “Motor Trend” has selected American Motors Rambler as the American car of the year. The award presented by the magazine is for “outstanding design achievement and engineering leadership.” The magazine has put out a special issue reporting on tests of the Rambler models and giving the history of the firm.
The Humber Sceptre, which was described on this page last week, will cost £1495 in New Zealand. Of this. £730 is required in sterling furxls and it has not been decided when the vehicle will be assembled locally. * * ♦
