Fined £40 For Cruelty

AUCKLAND, January 30. A woman was fined £4O tor being cruel to a horse and was ordered to. pay the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals £5 by Mr Stewart Hardy, SM. in the Magistrate’s Court at Papakura today.
Kathleen Gertrude Gundry, a machinist, pleaded guilty to ths charge. Sergeant BurSSjffiXTBS
