DISOBEYED ORDERS
Greaser Sent To Gaol
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. Pleas of guilty to two charges were entered by Neil Edgar, aged 34, a ship’s greaser, in the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington today. The charges were that he wilfully disobeyed a .lawful command of an officer on the Sydney Star and that he continued wilfully to disobey the lawful commands of the chief refrigerating engineer and the master. Mr J. A. Wicks, S.M., fined Edgar £2 op the first charge and sentenced him to one months’ imprisonment on the second.
