WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. The Federation of Labour is conducting a ballot tor the New Zealand workers’ delegate and adviser to attend this year’s International Labour Organisation conference in Geneva.
Under the 1.L.0. constitution the organisation representing the majority of workers has the right to select the workers’ representatives. Similarly the Employers* Federation selects a delegate and adviser, and the Government appoints its own representatives. , Nominations for the delegate received by the F.OX. are: Messrs C. E. Blacker (Christchurch clerical workers), w H. Clement (Wellington printing workers). W. J. Knox (Auckland woollen workers), W. P. Lindsay (Dunedin drivers), W. C. McDonnell (Dunedin metal workers* assistants), E. J. X Miller (Taranaki fertiliser workers), J. E. Napier (sewrctery, North Island waterside workers) red P. Post (freesins workers). Nominations for adviser are: Messrs Blacker red Clement and F. C. Chandler (Auckland Sugar Worton). J. Delziel (Dunedin Mouldera), E. Harris (In vercar gm Drivers), H.
