Railway Strike
Sir,—Hie recent State services protest meeting was not “pecked** as suggested by some correspondents. There was freedom of dtaussfon and anyone could vote against the proposed resolution if they wanted to. Any comfdednte about alleged union vtetimtoatfon should be made to the union concerned, and the remedy Mee soteiy in the hands of Ms members. Perhaps one of my critics could tell me why the Government repeated Us own tegisictioa passing on wage increases to railwaymen.— Yours, etc., . DISILLUSIONED NATIONALIST. January 30, IMS.
