Decision This Morning
(NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 29.
A decision whether Even Stevens should be destroyed or his broken leg allowed to heal will be made tomorrow morning, said A. McGregor, the champion’s trainer, tonight “If he is in too much pain, he will be shot,” said McGregor. “Those are my instructions. It all depends on how he is in the morning. The sesamoid bone is shattered to pieces.”
