Highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. 7373 PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL Combined Fee for Dog Registration and Hydatid Control PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of the Dog Registration Act. 1955 (as amended by the Statutes Amendment Act 1961) and the Hydatids Act, 1959' The Christchurch City Council has prescribed the following COMBINED REGISTRATION AND HYDATID CONTROL FEES to be paid in respect of dogs required to be registered in its district for the registration year commencing on JANUARY 1, 1963: (a) Dogs Six Months and Over Up to Five in Number: Non-working: £2 each Working (Statutory declaration required): £1 6s each. Six to Ten Dogs: Non-working: £ 5 plus an additional £1 per dog. Working: £5. plus an additional 6s per dog. Eleven or More Dogs: Non-working: £1 10s each. Working: 16s each. (b) Dogs Six Months of Age After July 31 1963: One half of the abovementioned fees. The Dog Registration Act pro. vides that NO PERSON SHALL KEEP ANY DOG OF A GREATER AGE THAN SIX MONTHS FOR A PERIOD OF FOURTEEN DAYS OR MORE UNLESS THE DOG IS FOR THE TIME BEING REGISTERED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT. No fees are payable In respect of transfers m ownerrfilp of dogs nor where the owner changes his address from one district to another, but NOTIFICATION OF SUCH CHANGES IS NECESSARY.
