Rocket Station Man Dies

LONDON. January 28. A Royal Air Force rocket station technician who feared “blowing everybody up” was later found dead at the base of a power cable pylon, a Lincoln inquest was told today.
The Coroner ruled death by misadventure. There was no evidence of suicide, be said. A doctor witness said the technician, 39-year-old Harry Frank Harris, of the R.A.F. station, Coleby, Lincolnshire, once told him he feared he would be “sitting pressing a button and blowing everybody up.”
Going To Waitangi.—-Mr and Mrs F. G. Briggs, formerly mayor and mayoress of Lyttelton, will leave for Waitangi next Saturday, as members of the South Island Maori delegation invited to meet the Queen at Waitangi.
