Tracking Cattle From Glenorchy

The first attempt to bring cattle out of the Glenorchy district solely by motor transport ' to be made at the week-end. A vehicle from a Gore firm is to make the trip over the newly-formed rood to the area at the head of Lake Wakatipu.
Tragical Meteeroiegy.—The international symposium on tropical meteorology will be held at Rotorua for nine days in November, ft Is expected about 100 delegates from countries bordering the Pacific will attend.—(P-A.)
