Glenn To Work On Moon Shot
(N.Z Press Asm.—Copyright I HOUSTON (Texas), Jan 26 Lieutenant-Colonel John Glenn, the first American astronaut to orbit the earth, was assigned today to pioneex the supreme effort tn the United States space programme—the moon shot. A spokesman for the manned spacecraft centre here announced new assignments for the original seven astronauts and nine new astronauts He specified that assignment of an astronaut to a project does not imply that he will pilot the spacecraft involved United Press International
