Record Australian Wheat Harvest

The Australian wheat harvest in the current season would be a record 290 million bushels, the Commonwealth Statistician, Mr Keith Archer, estimated on Friday He said the crop would be about 43 million bushels, or 17 per cent more than last season, and about 16 million bushels, or 6 per cent, above the previous record in 196061.
