Paper Strike In 51st Day

Thirteen hours of talks between the Mayor of New York (Mr Robert Wagner) and the city’s striking printers and newspaper publishers ended early today with no reports of progress. Further talks will be held today. The newspaper stoppage, over a union demand for increased wages and fringe benefits, is now in its fifty-first day.
Expecting Eighth Child.— Mrs Robert F. Kennedy, wife of the United States Attor-ney-General, is expecting her eighth baby in June, the Associated Press reported. The Kennedys have four boys and three girls.—New York. January 27.
