Cavan Wins At Tauranga

The double on the second day of the Bay of Plenty Trotting Club's summer meeting at Tauranga, Cavan and Globe's Mistake, paid £B7 19s. Racing was held in hot, fine weather before a fairly large crowd. .The track was fast.

On-course the totalisator handled £38,425 10s. of which £2688 was invested on the double. Last year a total of £22,814 was handled oncourse. Results:—
