Site Chosen For Moonie No. 13

Union Oil Development Corporation today announced the site of its next Moonie well—No. 13—which it is expected to help define how far west the rich oil field extends. The acting Australian resident manager (Mr G. Feister) said in Sydney that it would be north of No. 7 and west of No. 11—last of the wells to produce oil—on the regular half-mile spacing pattern. Name Changed To Fibremakers, N.Z. (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Jan. 27. The chairman of directors of British Nylon Spinners (N.Z.) Ltd. announces that the name of the company has been changed to Fibremakers (N.Z.) Ltd. The company, which was previoucly a subsidiary of British Nylon Spinners, Ltd., is about to become a subsidiary of Fibremakers, Ltd., Australia and this has necessitated the change of name The change of ownership of Fibremakers (N.Z) Ltd. is one outcome of an agreement concluded recently between Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, Ltd., and British Nylon Spinners, Ltd. Exchange Rates Exchange rates were stable last week the only changes being marginal alterations in some of v>e rates.
