With Railways For 40 Years
A man who has served with the Railways Department for 40 years retired ysetentoy He is Mr M C. Carr, a yardmaeter at the Christchurch yards. Mr Carr is succeeded by Mr W A. Finlayson. Mr Carr started his career as a porter at the Christchurch station. He later worked in many parte of New Zealand before returning to Christchurch as a yard foreman. Mr Ftoiaym also Masted as a potter at Christchurch, and has taken up his poet here after having bean North.
The House of Peen has never been a House where the most important peen were moot important.—Bage-
