Easing For Some Lamb

WELLINGTON. Jan. 27.
The market information service of the Meat Producers’ Board reports that prices were steady for the main grades of New Zealand lamb at Smithfield Market, London, last week. There was a slight easing in quotations for the lightweight (281 b and under) of prime quality. There were light supplies of New Zealand mutton. Trading was slow, but quotations were unchanged from last week. Hoggets were at 13Jd-16d per lb, wethers 11 Jd to 14Jd per lb and ewes 9d to UJd per lb. Quotations:— New Season’s Lamb
