Bevin Uric Rosewarne, aged 19. a brush hand, was fined £l5 on a charge of resisting the police and £1 for being drunk in Gloucester street. He pleaded guilty to both charges.
Sergeant V. F. Townshend Said a constable had to draw his baton and hit Rosewarne on the shoulder before he could be arrested and handcuffed shortly after midnight in Gloucester street. He struggled, slipped out of his coat, and then his cardigan, and tried to make off. When his brother was arrested. Peter Norman Rosewarne, aged 20, a workman, began to punch the constable Sergeant Townshend said Peter Rosewarne pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing the police and astateting the police. He was fined £2O oo earii charge.
