COLLISION NEAR MILTON
Man Killed In Head-On Crash

DUNEDIN, January 27.
A man- was killed and two others injured when two cars were involved in a head-on collision on the Main South road three miles south of Milton at 7.45 p.m. on Saturday. The man killed was John Yeoman McDonald, aged 33, of 24 Herron street, Dunedin. The injured are: Norburtus Wiel, of Pine Hill road, Dunedin, who suffered head injuries. and John Osborne, also of Pine Hill road, who suffered a broken arm. Wiel was admitted to the Balclutha Hospital His condition late tonight was satisfactory. Osborne was treated at the Dunedin Public Hospital. Mr McDonald was driving alone in a light English car. The other car was driven by Mr Wiel with Mr Osborne as passenger. Both cars were completely wrecked.
