LOWER GRADE RESULTS

Sixth round matches in the Canterbury Cricket Association's competitions began on Saturday. Lower grade results are as follows: Second Grade A Boys’ High School, 300 for eight wickets declared (Bull 93, Henry 53, Hadlee 34, TrUrt 34); Lane four for 45) met WestUniversity. 40 for one. Lancaster Park, 171 (Graham 45; Bennetts three for 70) met Technical Old Boys, 151 for six (Smith 45; Miller four for 58). St. Albans, 138 (Dempsey 72 not out; Newton three for 17) and 78 for five (Crawford 31; Hope three for 24) met High School Old Boys, 129 (Bishop 44, Cross 32; Wylie four for 33, Hollow four for 33). Christ’s College. 187 (Hunt 76. Fraser 39; Hine three for 21, Poole four for 38) met Riccarton, 171 (Fuller 39; Blakely five for 39, Andrews three for 51).

Second Grade B West-University, 185 (Downey 30 not out; Calder five for 82) met St. Albans. 80 for seven wickets (Pask four for 22, Ihompson three for 20). Technical Old Boys. 205 (Buckley 93, Godfrey 30; Kissling four for 54) met Old Collegians four for 70. Lancaster Park, 245 (Wide* 57, Robinson 48, Millard 46.
