National Orchestra Trainees

(NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 18. Two boys have been appointed trainees with the National Orchestra. They are Trevor Dean, aged 15, of Wellington (percussion), and Graeme Stentiford, aged 18, of Auckland (horn). Both have been members of the National Youth Orchestra.

In addition, five trainees have been granted extensions. They are Jennifer Baigent (flute), Kenneth Hoy (violin), and Evelyn Killoh (viola), of Wellington; Christopher Salmon (’cello), of Lower Hutt: and Alexander Cowdell (violin), of Waihi.
