FOUR BOYS INJURED

Car Skids Into Power Pole Three boys, aged 15, were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from bead injuries after a car skidded sideways into a pole near the corner of Springs and Collins road, Lincoln, about 1.45 pro. on Saturday. They are James Francis, of 25 Edmonds street, Alan Bernard Layton, of 100 Warden street and John Oakley, of 8 O'Grady street, Greymouth.

The accident occurred when a car driven south along Springs road by Bruce Alexander Hall, aged 15, of 15 Slater street, was about to make a right turn into Collins road. The left wheels skidded on the wavel verge and Hail attempted to turn the car sharply to its right onto the bitumen. It skidded sideways down a slight incline and struck a power pole. Hail suffered slight injuries. Carol Ann Sperry, of 6 Flesher avenue, North Richmond, who was one of the passengers in the car, was not injured.
