DAVIS CUP SQUAD
R. G. Clarke Included
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jam. 20. R. G. Clarke, a Wellington University student, aged 21, has been included in the four-man New Zealand Davis Cup squad which was an trounced by Mr F. S. Ramson, the chairman of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association managemenit committee at Auckland on Saturday. The other three players are L. A. Gerrard, I. S. Crookenden and J. E. Robson, all of Auckland. From this squad three players will be selected to represent New Zealand in the Davis Cup against the Philippines. The match has to be played before April 2. Clarke play-1 his way into the squad with some outstanding performances in the Auckland and national championships and has victories over both Crookenden and Robson to his credit.
