£l0.l00 STAKES AT HUTT PARK
(NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 16. The Wellington Trotting Club will present a programme carrying £lO,OOO In stakes for its special Royal meeting at Hutt Park In February. The meeting will be attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. The feature race will be the £3OOO Queen Elizabeth Handicap, one mile and a half, for cup-class pacers. The £l5OO Duke of Edinburgh Invitation Handleap, run over two miles, is for the tightest class trotters and there will be a special £BOO race for three and four-year-old pacers which have won at least one race.
The programme has yet to be approved by the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
