No Stud Duty For Hal Tryax “The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL Dec. 16. Hal Tryax, one of New Zealand’s top light harness sires, has bad to be withdrawn from further stud service this season. His owner Mr H. Gamble, of Edendale, said today that st had been decided to withdraw him from further stud duty this season after Hal Tryax had undergone a veterinary examination of his semen. The stud's veterinary surgeon. Mr C. H. G. Irvine, said that the cause of the withdrawal was not associated in any way with any contagious disease. His ailment was one from which an overnight recovery could not be expected and he would undergo treatment before next season.

Hal Tryax had not been able to leave his mares in foal this season and Mr Gamble said that brood mare owners would "wish to get their mares back to their own properties and some no doubt would wish to send them to other sires."
