UNIVtaSITY VACAMCIES THE UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE APPLICATIONS are invited tor appointment as RESEARCH FELLOW tn the Department of Africultural Chemistry at the Waite Agricultural Research Institute. The appointment will be made under a three-year grant from the United States Public Health Service for the support of a research project into the biochemistry of plant viruses. The Research Fellow may have specialised in either physical chemistry, organic chemistry or biochemistry. He is required to take part in fundamental research on the biochemistry* of plant viruses with special reference to the inter - relationships between the structure of the protein and nucleic acid of viruses, and between them and the genetically controlled biological properties. The Fellow will join a team of chemists with experience in virology and need not have had any* experience with viruses or knowledge of genetics.
