Air Hostess Loves Flying
An air hostess with a record of almost seven years service to her company is truly dedicated to flying—she spent her last leave on a 34-day trip round the world, travelling by air all the way "And I can’t wait to go again,” said Miss Mary Ashcroft yesterday. Miss Ashcroft is a T.E.A.L. hostess based in Auckland who flies on the normal routes between Australia and New Zeeland, Tahiti and Fiji, She is visiting Christchurch to address the Canterbury women’s division of the New Zealand National Party today Miss Ashcroft will describe the qualifications needed by an air hostess, the training and normal flight duties, and the places she has visited
