Sky Line Well Weighted
"The Press” Special Sendee AUCKLAND, Nov. 19. If there is anything in figures the EUenside filly Sky Line should be an excellent chance in the Ruakura Handicap, tar two-year-olds, ait Te Rapa cm Saitunday. Sky Line won ait her last start, the second of two which she has had, in the Jrwell Handicap at Ricoarton on November 7.
With 7-9 in the Ruakura Handicap she was put in the company of 18 youngsters who have not raced and three who have started without showing form. Besides Sky Line, the winners weighted for the Ruakura Handicap were Mateland (8-10), Sir Oman (8-8) Nicodeinus (8-8), and Dandienee (8-5).
Mateland's success was in the Welcome Stakes, ait Ellerslie on November 3. worth £l9OO to the winner. Sir Oman won the Musket Stakes at EUeraUe on October & worth £495 for first He has secured a second and two thirds as weU. Nicodemus and Dandienee won divisions of the Tamahere Handicap at Te Rapa last Saturday, securing £3OO apiece for tndr owners. Nicodemus had not raced beforehand. Dandienee bad had one start and he finished sixth.
In the Irweii < Handicap. Sky Line put up 3}lb overweight from the minimum of 7-7, making 7-10 J. Her first placing was worth £4OO.
