Bullet Hits Parked Car
(N.Z. Press Association) HASTINGS. Nov. 19. A .303 bullet hit a parked car in Hastings at 6.56 p.m. yesterday. The car's owner. Mr D. W. McKinley, was standing near the car in Willowpark road when he heard something hit it. The bullet penetrated the metal roof near the driver’s seat.
Senior-Sergeant M. Thyne. of the Hastings police, said it was possible the bullet waa fired from a considerable distance away.
