“N.Z. BUTTER IS BEST”
Scottish Visitors At Show
New Zealand butter is tlie beat in the world, according to a Scottish visitor at the Canterbury Centennial Show yesterday. "Since my Last visit here two years ago I don't use any other kind,” said Mrs R. P. Baxter, of Stirling. "Och aye, there is nothing like it.”
When she and her husband decided to spend another holiday in New Zealand they arranged their itinerary to be in Christchurch for the show The "cow shed” and dairy products were the biggest attraction for them. On their 200-acre farm near Stirling. M' Baxter usually has about 100 head of beef cattle fattening for sale “You have a tot of very nice cattle at this show.” he said.
In the two years since their last visit, Mr and Mrs Baxter have entertained many New Zealanders in their home Yesterday they spent much of their time renewing old friendships in the Canterbury farming community.
