Springboks Invite Argentina (N.ZP.A .-Reuter—Copyright) CAPE TOWN. October 17. South Africa may receive fairly regular vtetts from Rugby Union teams below international strength. This prospect has been opened up by a recommendation of the South African Board’s executive that Argentina be invited to tour the republic in 1965. That year the Springboks’ main side will be away on tour in Australia and New Zealand. The invitation to Argentina will have to be approved by the board M its annual meeting next March.
Maori Tour Of Fiji
(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. Oct. 17. A New Zealand Maori Rugby team will tour Fiji in 1964. The chairman of the New Zealand union (Mr T. C Morrison) said today that agreement on the tour bad been reached between the two unions and it only remained to arrange an itinerary The twt New Zealand Maori team to tour oversees went to Western Samoa and Tonga in 1960 Tremain's Transfer (NZ. Press Association) NAPIER. October 17. A change in plans by the Sta*e Advances Corporation has transferred the All Black and Hawke's Bay side row forward K R Tremain. to Hamilton and not New Plymouth as originally advised.
