Retirements From Post Office
Mr K. C. Richards, who has been overseer of the Christchurch Post Office stores branch for the last 11 years, will retire from the department - on September 28. He has been responsible for the distribution of post office stores valued at several million pounds. Mr Richards has had all his service in Christchurch, where he commenced as a message boy on December 6. 1920. Mr J. C. F. Curtis, custodian of the Chief Post Office, Christchurch since 1968, has retired after 41 years’ service.
