Situation At Port
A senior officer of the Holmburn, due to sail from Lyttelton this afternoon, said he had not been told anything about the possibility of not sailing today. The ship was being loaded last evening and would finish loading today and was expected to sail early in the afternoon. The crew would be notified of the sailing time about 8 a.m. and it was only then that it would be known if they were going to refuse to man the ship, he said.
