Gough—Crowe: Mr and Mrs A. F. Crowe, 37 Whitcombe street. Temuka, have pleasure in announcing the engagement of their fifth daughter, Catherine, to Alan Lewis, second son of Mr and Mrs L. F. Gough, Greendale.
Kindergarten Council. — Mrs P. D. Ferguson has been elected to the council of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mrs C. O. Mathias Mrs E. J. Thompson has been elected a delegate to the National Council of Women.
