Six Contracts Let

Six contracts let this week by the Christchurch Drainage Board include the big jobs of the second section of the lower , Sockburn-Yald-hurst sewer’ reticulation project and the Buchanans road collecting sewer.

For the first of these contracts, the board received 10 tenders ranging from £35,586 to £54,727 and accepted the lowest, that of Waddell Construction, Ltd.
