Crookenden’s Position
The top New Zealand Davis Cup tennis player, I. S. Crookenden, who recently returned from his overseas tour, is not expected to return to Christchurch. A member of the staff of a sports flrm, with L. A. Gerard, the national champion, Crookenden came to Christchurch early in March and stayed till the end of that month before he went on tour.
It was thought he might return to Christchurch after the tour. Crookenden’s home is in Hamilton.
