Outward Bound
Sir. —The Scout movement. Boys’ Brigade, Si. John Ambulance, etc., have for years been braining boys and young rrien, without prejudice to social standing or colour, to become leaders. To follow on from these most worthy organisations are the Army. Navy and Air Force, whose modern training methods are proven men-makers. If we stop to think for a while, it is evident that Outward Bound, in New Zealand, is suitable only as a vehicle for social occasions.—Yours, etc., R. E. ELLIS. August 23, 1962.
