Travel Club.— “ Major impressions from 14 countries” was the subject of a' talk by Mr L. H. Govan at a recent morning tea meeting of the Canterbury Travel Club Vocal items were given by Mr K. Cutten, accompanied by Mrs J. Cutten. The speaker and artists were thanked by Mrs C. Shaw. Mrs R. Drayton welcomed guests, who included Mrs Govan, wife of the speaker and a new member of the club, and Mrs M. Dunn, an executive member of the South Canterbury Travel Club. Mesdames J L. Norton, H. P, Armour, and A. J. Beanland w,ere welcomed as new members.
